WORZ Recycled Water Pipeline

Construction of a recycled water pipeline from GWW’s Werribee Recycled Water Plant to the Werribee Open Range Zoo (WORZ) by way of a 2.8km DN600 MSCL pipeline. Major works included the construction of a 2.3km DN600 MSCL pipeline and a OD710 HDD bore beneath the Werribee River and several high-risk asset crossings (VIVA Energy).

Design and construction of a 3.5km water main to renew a 140+ year old DN450 cast-iron main along Victoria and Howard Streets in Melbourne’s CBD. A vital project to renew the aging and essential infrastructure included open cut trenching and slip-lining, plus the installation of multiple air valves & scours.
Pakenham East Branch Sewer

Construction of sewer and recycled water pipeline, including 2km of OD660 GRP gravity sewer and OD355PE recycled watermain, open cut with segments through Melbourne Water drains. As well as installation of a OD718 GRP trenchless crossing across APA gas transmission main and 16x DN1500 sewer manholes with HDPE lining.

Jaydo-Ventia JV design and delivery of approximately 9.2km of main sewer pipeline along the Melbourne-Sydney railway line included trenchless crossings, several branch crossings, GRP maintenance structures, vortex and free drop structures. The management and engagement with the local stakeholders including landowners and various authorities, was the backbone of the project’s success.
